A flamingo store owner in Texas was arrested after allegedly shoplifting several items, including a $5,000 suit, police said Wednesday.
The arrest warrant affidavit said Jason DeCrawlin allegedly stole a suit from a store in the town of DeCawlins, about 60 miles north of Houston, when he was arrested Monday.
DeCrawlins’ wife told the affidavit her husband had just returned home from work on Monday when he saw a couple of men at the store.
She told police DeCraylins told them the suit was on the shelf, and they had a little fight about who should get it first.
When she returned to her husband’s apartment, DeCrowlins allegedly stole the suit from his room.
When police questioned him, DeCsawlins allegedly told them he had stolen it.
The affidavit said DeCroylin then returned to the store and told the employees the suit belonged to him.
After they left, the store employees called police and DeCroubles’ wife reported the theft to the sheriff’s office.
De Craylins was arrested Wednesday.
He faces a maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted of the charges.
